Launch of DRISHTI: A Landmark India-Israel Tech Collaboration

DRISHTI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) at T-Hub, led by Motwani Jadeja Foundation, to Provide Israeli Innovators Access to India’s Thriving Défense
and Tech Sectors

In a significant milestone for India-Israel technological collaboration, T-Hub, India’s leading startup incubator, in partnership with the Directorate of Defence Research & Development (DDR&D), Israel
Ministry of Defence, enabled by Motwani Jadeja Foundation (MJF), has launched the
DRISHTI (Dual-use Robust India-Israel High-Tech Innovation) program. This transformative initiative aims to strengthen ties between India and Israel, driving innovation, strategic partnerships, and cutting-edge technological advancements across critical
sectors such as defense, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), robotics, drones, and more.

The name DRISHTI, derived from the
Sanskrit word for ‘vision’ or ‘insight’, reflects the centre’s mission to provide a forward-looking platform for innovation and strategic partnerships between India and Israel. Through the establishment of a
Centre of Excellence (CoE) at T-Hub in Hyderabad, Israeli innovators will gain unparalleled access to India’s rapidly growing defense and high-tech sectors, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with Indian defense public sector undertakings (PSUs),
corporates, and investors.

During the launch event,
Sreekant Lanka, Chief Strategy Officer of the Government of Telangana, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of innovation and strengthening international partnerships.

The 6–12-month acceleration program will provide Israeli startups tailored mentorship, strategic market entry support, and opportunities
for soft launches in India. Startups will also have invaluable opportunities to collaborate with Indian defense public sector undertakings (PSUs), corporates, and investors, paving the way for long-term innovation and market expansion.

The DRISHTI program is structured to offer clear, measurable outcomes. Through hackathons, ideathons, and workshops, it will facilitate innovation exchanges and tackle industry challenges, ensuring
startups are poised for success. The focus on dual-use technologies will enable Israeli startups to create groundbreaking solutions that serve both defense and civilian sectors, particularly in AI, ML, robotics, and drones.

“We are thrilled to launch DRISHTI, which marks a new chapter in the India-Israel collaboration,” said
Sujit Jagirdar, CEO of T-Hub. “By blending Israel’s world-renowned technological expertise with India’s vast market potential, we aim to unlock tremendous opportunities for startups and drive impactful innovations in critical sectors such as defense
and dual-use technologies.”

Support of the DRISHTI project is the first step in the Motwani Jadeja Foundation’s India-Israel Innovation Corridor project, an endeavor to build a bridge between the two nations’ immense technology
ecosystems. Speaking at the launch, Asha Jadeja, Founder MJF, expressed how this project fits into the vision of the Foundation, “The DRISHTI program represents the realization of a long-standing vision: to create meaningful bridges between India and
Israel, two nations that share a deep commitment to innovation and resilience. By uniting Israel’s technological prowess with India’s vast market potential, we are creating a robust India-Israel Innovation Corridor for breakthroughs in defense, AI, and dual-use
technologies that will shape the future of both nations. At the Motwani Jadeja Foundation, our mission is to empower changemakers and create platforms that foster peace, prosperity, and mutual understanding. DRISHTI is not just a program; it is a vision for
transformative growth that bridges ecosystems and accelerates opportunities for lasting impact globally.”
