One cannot stop without looking at all the angles, each angle depicts a different image. Sculpting and contouring bends and shadows and ever-changing curves and profiles with each slight turn to view. People divide pottery into two main categories. Utilitarian pottery; designed for use in food or drink. Art pottery: that which can still have use but also becomes decorative for living spaces. And then, works such as Aarti's. Fine Art! This, hers, is no longer pottery. Aarti is an artist of Fine Art, sculpture, in the media of clay/terracotta. One can see the time, the eye, and the hand of Aarti in every work of hers, without seeing her name. Her sculptures are aerial, without any armature, and handmade, it takes their own time to achieve the required firmness and uniformity.

These also need to be dried thoroughly as the clay settles and gets used to its new shape. It takes her three to six months to make one sculpture.
