Crescent Public School and Creative
Mind Pre School Commemorate Maharashtra Day and Labor Day, and Launch Summer
Camp 2023 on May 1st.
The Maharashtra Day and Labor Day
celebration and Inauguration of Summer Camp 2023 was organized by Crescent
Public School and Creative Mind Pre School run and managed by Crescent Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. The
program was graced by notable personalities, including Mr. Chandan Singh
Chandel, Ex-Chairman of Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra State,
Mohammad Sharif Sir, Ex-Principal of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule College, and Ismail
Dhakwala, Tejender Singh Dari, Lucky Kalsi, Munna Thakur, and School Principal
Mrs. Humera Khan.
The event began with the rendition
of the state song of Maharashtra, "Jai
Jai Maharashtra Mazha," by Mr. Vijay Parkhi and Smt. Manisha Gatlewar.
Shri Chandansinghji Chandel hoisted the flag, and the National Anthem was sung
by the school children, guests, and teachers. Suvarna Ramteke and Suvarna
Jagzap welcomed the guests and talked about the significance of Maharashtra
Day, while Miss. Tasneem gave information about the summer camp scheduled for
2023.
Mr. Chandan Singh Chandel, the
Ex-Chairman of Forest Development Corporation Maharashtra State, inaugurated
the summer camp organized by Crescent Public School and Creative Mind Pre
School by cutting the ribbon. The ceremony was also marked by the felicitation
of two exceptional women, Mrs. Sunita Patil and Vinatai Meshram, on the
occasion of Labor Day. Both were presented with shawls, shrifal, and badges of
honor. Mrs. Sapna Patil was honored for being the first female auto driver in
Ballarpur despite adverse circumstances at home. Vinatai Meshram, on the other
hand, was honored for her unwavering commitment to her family despite having to
distribute papers to her husband due to palsy injury. Both women demonstrated
remarkable self-confidence and resilience in the face of social inequality, and
their example serves as a great inspiration to society. The felicitation of
Mrs. Sunita Patil and Vinatai Meshram on the occasion of Labor Day was a truly
heartening moment. These women have shown that with determination and
perseverance, it is possible to overcome any obstacle and succeed in life. The
school's decision to honor them was a commendable gesture that sends a message
of encouragement to all those who face challenges in their lives.
Mr. Chandan Singh Chandel praised
the activities being organized by the school and appealed to parents to
participate in the development of their children along with the school. He also
spoke about the changes brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the
education sector. Mr. Chandan Singh Chandel's appeal to parents to participate
in their children's development is equally significant. Education is a collaborative
effort that requires the involvement of not just teachers but also parents and
the wider community. When parents are actively engaged in their children's
education, it creates a more conducive learning environment and helps children
to realize their full potential.
Mrs. Humera Khan, Principal of Crescent Public School,
provided information about various activities of the school, including the
summer camp. The information provided by Mrs. Humera Khan about the various
activities of Crescent Public School was also enlightening. It is heartening to
see that the school is not just focused on academics but also on providing a
well-rounded education that includes extracurricular activities and summer
camps. Such activities help children to develop their creativity, confidence,
and leadership skills, and prepare them to face the challenges of the future.
In conclusion, the summer camp organized by Crescent Public School and Creative Mind Pre School and the felicitation of Mrs. Sunita Patil and Vinatai Meshram on the occasion of Labor Day were truly inspiring. They serve as a reminder of the importance of perseverance, determination, and hard work in the face of adversity. The school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education that includes extracurricular activities and summer camps is commendable, and the tireless efforts of the teachers and staff members of the school are truly appreciated.
Towards the end of the program, Mrs. Sonal Thakur proposed a vote of thanks, and the program was moderated by Mrs. Vishwabharati Bhagat. The success of the program was due to the tireless efforts put in by Mr. Riaz Khan, Vinay Wasnik, Dhiraj Rahud, Jordan Azim, Parvez, Raju Mazgawali, and all the teachers and other staff members of the school.
