Nadini Sahabandu from Sri Lanka named a Finalist for 3 WomenTech Global Awards 2022

 

Mentor of the Year Award, Special Recognition: Women In ICT Award and Community Award.

Competing globally with 1247 contestants from 142 countries, Nadini Sahabandu from Sri Lanka was chosen as a finalist in 03 categories at the WomenTech Global Awards 2022.

WomenTech Network announced the finalists for the Women in Tech Global Awards 2022 celebrating 100 000 women, minorities, and allies in tech. Women in Tech Global Awards 2022 is the largest virtual awards celebration in technology for women, minorities, and their allies, by WomenTech Network, the world's largest community for women in tech with more than 6000 ambassadors from 172 countries.

This year's event involved 1247 contestants from 142 countries in 16 categories.

Following evaluation rounds, in mid-November Nadini Sahabandu was named a finalist in not one but 03 categories. Namely, the three categories are Mentor of the year, Special Recognition: Women in ICT Awards, and Community Award for her achievements in medium to large scale and complex digital transformation projects, and creating, leading and contributing to programmes to train, mentor and coach individuals and groups across Sri Lanka, UK, Canada, etc. to move to, and excel in the ICT industry. She has also crowned the Global Award Winner at the 2021 TechWomen100 Awards last year, which We Are Tech Women (UK) organized in partnership with Goldman Sachs. The winners of the 2022 WomenTech Global Awards will be announced on Dec. 1 at the Women in Tech Global Awards & Inspire Summit. This is quite an amazing recognition and it was evident how her many followers, well wishes and fellow Sri Lankans were very proud of her achievements to date as they shared the news across their social media platforms and supported her with voting which is still underway.

About Nadini Sahabandu

Nadini is an ICT Professional born in Sri Lanka (now living in Canada) with extensive experience working across the United Kingdom, Australia, North America and Asia, providing leadership in both Product Engineering and Digital Transformation programs of varied scales from startups to large-scale enterprises. Driven by the motive of “humanizing technology", she considers her core to be Business Consulting and Product Management, working both as an independent consultant as well as managing and mentoring product teams from varied disciplines are required for the programs.
