One day Workshop on Topic "Recent Trends in Automobile Engineering 2k20".
Cars have become increasingly safeand convenient since the rise of the commercial automobile industry inlate 1980s. recently car makers have begun to introduce advancedriver-assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control(whichautomates accelerating and braking) and active lane assist(whichautomates steering). Researches inautonomous cars has progressed remarkably over the years and it has been found that these systems are capable enough that the new vehicle scan drive themselves in slowmoving highway traffic. In 2010, fourdriverless vans traveled from Italy to China. In August of 2012, Google announced that its self-driving carshad completed over 300,000 miles of accident-free autonomous driving.
The electric automobile company, Tesla motors came up with its first autonomous car Tesla model X. Although self-driving cars may still seem like science fiction, many auto suppliers, and car makers project that fully autonomous cars will be available before 2021.
