Atal Tunnel
At a height of a staggering more than 10,000 feet, the Atal Tunnel is one of the world's longest tunnel at this height. In our first of the line-up, we will be having the head of planning of the prestigious project talk about the mega Marvel that India has achieved .
About the Speaker
Sandeep Sharma is a Civil Engineering Graduate with MBA in Project Management. With over 18 years of rich experience in the field of large infrastructure project’s and underground structures he has numerous projects under his kitty. He has completed components like Underground and Open Powerhouse, Surge Shaft, Pressure Shaft, Penstock & Head Race Tunnel. Presently he is associated with execution of the prestigious Atal Tunnel Project, Rohtang with AFCONS Infrastructure Ltd. Atal Tunnel has been executed at an altitude of 10040 feet. This tunnel stands as the longest highway tunnel in the world over 3000m elevation.
