N.I.T. Kurukshetra present
Altius’20
National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, one
of the leading educational institution of the country found a great privilege
to present you before you it’s annual techno-managerial fest Altius’20(the
online version of annual tech-fest N.I.T. Kurukshetra, Techspardha).
It’s an intra college fest conducted from 27th
– 28thNovember 2020. A platform where more than 2000 students
compete among themselves for winning more than 60 events in 9 amazing
categories.
Altius’20, The Paroxysm of technology, offers you
a platform to learn, to grow, to compete and to win too. It’s starts with the
commencement of it’s flagship event Excalibur. A one month long team event
where teams have to be work on the idea on any trending tech sector under the
mentorship of experienced developers or tech geeks, it marks the starting of
Altius.
Second event before the fest is Hackshetra’20, a
48 hours long coding marathon where developers are required to work on the
problem statements on trending technology and come up with the most effective
solution for the day to day life in the form of any web-app or android app.
This time Hackshetra’20 conducted from 24th -26th
November 2020. Here more than 200 devs compete among themselves and we got extremely
fabulous apps and websites from the students.
Altius’20 has finally started on the eve of 26th
November 2020 by the inaugural function hosted virtually with honourable
Director Padam Shri Dr Satish Kumar, as our chief guest. Next 2 days is completely
filled with thrilled and enjoyment, the main organizing society of the fest ,
technobyte conducted a good variety of event, from coding event like Encoder to
gaming event like Gamestation and puzzling event like Axiom. Encoder has been
hosted on codechef platform where coders from all over the world competed and
solve 5 beautifully designed problem statements by our student co-ordinators.
Our most participated event Gamestation hosted
many games like COD, mini-militia, among-us and many more. Gamers filled with
thrill as this time it’s all virtual. More coding events like blackbox also
amazed the coders and web-hunting is at it’s peak due to webhunt.
Altius’20 also awarded winners of all these events
with cash pries plus a lot of goodies, not winners every participants of
Altius’20 event’s were rewarded with goodies.
Altius’20, provided something to everyone, some
got rewards, some, got experience but most importantly everyone develops a
spirit to win.
