Aiming just on women, Sheroes has bagged a huge amount in a round led by Lumis Partners along with The HR Fund and angel investor Rajul Garg. Rahul Bahl’s Quintillion Media, participated in the round, who where alredy inverstors to begin with.
A statement released by the company states that the transaction is a part of a bigger picture, out of with Rs 12 crore has been pocketed.
SHEROS’s financial advisor and legal advicor were Dexter Capital and Vertices Partners respectively. SHEROES expertises in giving women jobs with members from over 20,000 locations, and has 12,000 companies using the platform. They also have a carrer support service, accessable via phone and app which is available in major Indian cities and will be accessable from Jaipur, Indor and Pune in the near future.
Launched in 2014, SHEROS have managed to raise a lot of money in an angel round from Raghav Bahl and Ritu Kapur’s Quintillion media, 500 startups and a team of experts including Vijay Shekar Sharma, Rajan Anandan, Binny Bansal, Mekin Maheshwari, Girish Mathrubhootham, Indus Khaitan and Krishna Mehra. Tiger global supported Quikr grabbed Bangaluru-based job portal hiree, among major recent acquisitions, which will be put in the same box with its counterpart QuikrJobs. The big dogs in the game are Naukri, Monster India, and TimesJobs. However, none of them expertise on women oriented jobs, which SHEROES has used to its profit.
